moment of conscious breath

Close our eyes for a moment...feel our breath grow and
subside with the in- and exhale. Use this moment to breathe
consciously by just watching our natural breath. The breath
gets longer and softer without any help. This is what breath
wants to do! Awareness quiets body and mind, letting us
experience the larger universe around us and inside ourselves.
Stretching our body with our breath keeps us open as
naturally breathing beings. Emotional stress, hectic
schedules and physical inactivity cause us to become ill
and not enjoy our own being alive. We lose touch with
the moment of living. Yoga encourages those moments.
